Illustrated History of Don Post Studios

The Facebook page for the soon to be released Illustrated History of Don Post Studios has been launched. Coming September 5th, this coffee-table book details the history of Don Post Studios. Presented by Dr. Shocker and authored by Lee Lambert, this book details the history of Don Post Studios from its creation in 1938 through to its closure in 2012. Presented in a coffee-table style, this 475 page book contains over 650 photographs, many of which have never been seen publicly.

  1. Finally! Given the long and colorful history of this company it's surprising no one has tackled such a project in the past. Looking forward to seeing this.

  2. Indeed Carbon, I'm super stoked to get my hands on a copy. It's planned to be released at Maskfest this September. There is also a early history of mask exhibit planned, which would be right up your alley. You should consider making the trip to Indy this year.
