Off to the Beach...

Your old pal the Yellow Phantom is running off to the beach with Mrs. Phantom for a week to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. I'll be back next Tuesday with more monster mask madness!

1980 Be Something Studios Catalog

I'm not entirely sure where and when I downloaded this 1980 Be Something Studios catalog. I thought it was posted on the HMA awhile back, but I can't for the life of me find the original post. In any case,  the 1980 Be Something Studios catalog is easily one of my top 5 favorite mask catalogs of all-time. Now of course, I'm biased as BSS is my favorite mask maker of all-time, but this catalog has some serious contenders within it's pages.  The list of bad-ass-ery includes: "Vanilla Gorilla", "Fang Face", "Wicked Witch", "Die Ann", "Strangler", "Fantome",  "Devil", "Evil Unicorn", "Vampira", "She Wolf/ Killer Wolf", "Executioner", and "Sentinel"...

Tomb of Terror Zombie

It's been a busy year with custom paint work in the studio, and many months have past since I released any new monster masks through the Devil's Workshop. But, just in time for the Halloween season, I managed to sneak out a new mask based on the illustration of Terror Tomb #12...

The mask can be yours for $139 and the edition will be limited to only 13 copies. Be the first creep on your block to own one! Drop me a line at the Devil's Workshop site to reserve your copy today.

Aaron Lewis Collection

About 45 minutes due west from the Phantom's crib lies the biggest damn monster mask collection I've ever had the pleasure of viewing up close and in person. Below are the photos of a sampling of the collection I snapped in the basement of monster mask maker and collector, Aaron Lewis.

The shelves that line the basement contain a staggering amount of monster masks to take in at one time. In fact, the only way to really handle the onslaught of eye candy is to wander the basement many times over.

So now, without further adieu, for your viewing pleasure, the Aaron Lewis Collection...
